My coaching philosophy is very important to me. It is the reason that I coach in the way I do.
My aim is to create a positive learning environment, where the rider can communicate their thoughts and feelings openly and feel free to ask questions in order to create a deeper understanding so that eventually they become independent of me.
It is important that I reward the effort of the rider, not just the outcome so that the rider is always encouraged to try.
I like to allow the rider time to think for themselves and question the situation they are in rather than simply shout commands and leave the rider not really knowing why I have said to do something.
I aim to inform and inspire my riders so they feel capable of achieving their goals and aspirations.
